La alcaldesa Patricia Chío De la Garza junto a la Presidenta del Patronato del DIF Municipal Perla Cristina Chío, ponen en marcha esta importante actividad

La Presidenta Municipal Patricia Chío de la Garza junto a autoridades del DIF Municipal, dieron inicio al boteo Teletón 2024, con el cual el gobierno municipal se une a la noble causa en favor de niños y jóvenes que requieren apoyo especial.
Atendiendo la encomienda de la presidenta del sistema DIF Tamaulipas Dra. María Santiago de Villarreal, la alcaldesa junto con la presidenta del patronato del DIF Mante Perla Cristina Chío de la Garza y la directora Erika Torres Velázquez, solicitaron la contribución voluntaria de la ciudadanía para aportar a las ánforas del Teletón 2024.
“Tenemos que unirnos a esta gran causa que lidera en el estado la Doctora María de Villarreal presidenta del DIF Tamaulipas, quien nos ha invitado a poner nuestra aportación. El Teletón antes era un sueño hoy es una realidad con 24 centros en todo el país que atienden a niños, niñas y adolescentes con una discapacidad y que ahora también incluye a niños con cáncer y autismo” dijo.
El año pasado Tamaulipas ocupó el segundo lugar de los Estados que más aportó al Teletón, y hoy la meta es superar, para lo cual la Presidenta Patricia Chío de la Garza hizo el llamado a funcionarios municipales, estatales e instituciones para que donde quiera que vean una ánfora, aporten su ayuda económica con la certeza de que su contribución será bien aprovechada en el equipamiento de los CREE y CRI del Teletón.
“Es un privilegio contar con un CRIT (Centro de Rehabilitación Integral en Tamaulipas) que está a tan solo 2 horas de El Mante y que ha cambiado vidas dando esperanza a niños, niñas y jóvenes con requerimiento especial”, dijo la alcaldesa.
La Presidenta del Patronato DIF y la directora, agradecieron la aportación de empleados del gobierno municipal donde se inició el boteo y mencionan que harán recorrido por oficinas de gobierno y empresas para solicitar la colaboración en las urnas que se tendrán hasta el mes de diciembre.
