Protege DIF a niñas contra maltrato y violencia infantil.
- Desde el gobierno municipal que preside Patty Chío, se condena la violencia hacia mujeres y niñas y se trabaja para proporcionarles un entorno más seguro.
A través del área de psicología y la procuraduría de la defensa de niñas, niños, adolescentes y adultos mayores, el Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia protege a niñas menores de edad que sufren violencia en diversos ámbitos.
De manera coordinada con la Fiscalía Especializada en Atención a Niñas, Niños , Adolescentes y Mujeres FENNAM, se proporciona la asesoría y acompañamiento psicológico a las menores que han sido referidas al sistema DIF ante un caso de violencia psicológica, sexual o física.
En el Día Internacional de la Lucha contra la Violencia a Mujeres, la directora del sistema DIF Mante Érika Torres Velázquez precisa que se han reforzado las áreas de atención psicológica, precisamente para atender los casos que son referidos al organismo, así como también se les canaliza a las instancias correspondientes cuándo estos llegan en búsqueda de auxilio a la procuraduría de la defensa de niñas, niños, adolescentes y adultos mayores, donde de manera integral se les atiende conjuntamente con el personal de psicología y trabajo social.
“Nuestra Presidenta Municipal Patty Chío ha instruido que trabajemos muy cerca de la ciudadanía atendiendo y proporcionando la herramientas necesarias en casos donde está de por medio el bienestar de los menores de edad y desde el sistema DIF Tamaulipas la Presidenta Dra. María Santiago de Villarreal ha sido muy clara en que proporcionemos entornos seguros a las niñas y mujeres”.
Condenó la violencia contra mujeres como un hecho que se debe erradicar y dijo que se está trabajando a través de estas áreas para proteger a las niñas y ofrecerles un entorno libre de violencia.
Añadió que el sistema DIF Mante cuenta con los servicios de psicología abiertos a la ciudadanía tanto en las instalaciones del organismo, como en el Centro de Rehabilitación Integral CRI donde diariamente se proporcionan las terapias a niños, jóvenes y adultos.
