Atención humanista a familias es la prioridad del sistema DIF.

• En sesión, integrantes del patronato acuerdan trabajar con el nuevo gobierno de la alcaldesa Patty Chío para la asistencia social de familias mantenses.

En la primera sesión de la nueva administración, integrantes del patronato del sistema DIF Mante acordaron trabajar en beneficio de la asistencia social e instituciones que están a cargo del organismo.
Bajo la directriz de Perla Cristina Chío de la Garza presidenta del patronato y Érika Torres Velázquez directora del sistema DIF Mante, se analizaron los proyectos de trabajo para este primer año de la administración 2024-2027, en la que se priorizaron acciones en beneficio de niños, niñas y adultos mayores que son asistidos en la Casa Hogar y estancia, así como también para hacer mejoras al edificio del CRI.
Reunidas en las instalaciones del Centro de Rehabilitación Integral, las voluntarias coincidieron que el gobierno municipal que preside Patty Chío es esperanzador para las familias vulnerables, a quienes la alcaldesa ha ofrecido atender muy de cerca, siguiendo la política humanista del gobernador Américo Villarreal Anaya y de la Presidenta del sistema DIF Tamaulipas Dra. María Santiago de Villarrea, para que los programas de asistencia social lleguen a quienes realmente lo necesitan.
Durante esta primera sesión del patronato, las integrantes recorrieron las instalaciones del CRI donde diariamente se atiende hasta 90 personas que reciben terapia físicas, de lenguaje, asistencia médica y rehabilitación; interesándose por trabajar mediante actividades altruistas por la mejora continúa de la infraestructura.
Además, se unieron al boteo del Teletón 2024, actividad que se realiza en conjunto con el sistema DIF Tamaulipas.
